AKC Rally Obedience “Intermediate/Advanced”

January 5 through January 26th

Monday’s from 1:30pm-2:30pm

This 4-week class is an AKC Rally team sport: We will be offering both Intermediate and Advanced courses. You and your dog navigate a course, side-by-side, as you steer your dog through a course of 10-20 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. The dog and handler move continuously throughout the course with the dog under control at the handler’s left side. There is a clear sense of teamwork between the dog and handler both during and between the numbered signs. This is a fun and challenging class for both you and your dog. Prerequisites: Rally Obedience “Novice“. Drop in welcome for $30 if space is available.

January 5 through January 26th

Monday’s from 6:00pm7:00pm

This 4-week class is an AKC Rally team sport: We will be offering both Intermediate and Advanced courses. You and your dog navigate a course, side-by-side, as you steer your dog through a course of 10-20 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. The dog and handler move continuously throughout the course with the dog under control at the handler’s left side. There is a clear sense of teamwork between the dog and handler both during and between the numbered signs. This is a fun and challenging class for both you and your dog. Prerequisites: Basic Obedience. Drop in welcome for $30 if space is available.

Living with Your Dog Level 1 “Basic Obedience”

Tuesday’s from 6:00-7:00pm

January 6th through February 10th

Living with Your Dog “Level 1” (6-week series) – This class is designed to help you train your dog to be part of your pack. You will learn basic handling skills to build a solid foundation using positive reinforcement. These skills will help you build a lasting relationship with your dog at home, toward a AKC CGC Title, Therapy Dog or wherever you might want to go next. This class is suitable for Puppies, Adolescent & Adult Dogs using The Volhard Motivational Method

AKC S.T.A.R. PUPPY

Jan 7th through Feb 11th

Wednesday’s from 6:00-7:00pm

AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an exciting program designed to get dog owners and their puppies off to a good start. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy is an excellent first in-person training class for puppies. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy provides a good lead-in to earning the Canine Good Citizen title.

The Benefits of Training Your Puppy

Training classes teach you how to best communicate with your puppy. Organized training classes also provide an opportunity for your dog to socialize with other dogs. In classes aimed at earning the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy distinction, you’ll be able to get information on all of your puppy-raising questions including housetraining, chewing, and the most effective way to teach practical skills such as coming when called. AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training is a natural lead into the AKC® Canine Good Citizen® Program. Each student will have the opportunity to take the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy test on the last class.

AKC Rally Obedience “Excellent/Master”

Jan 8th through Jan 29th

Thursday’s from 6:30-7:30pm




This 4-week class is an AKC Rally team sport: We will be offering alternating Excellent and Master courses. You and your dog navigate a course, side-by-side, as you steer your dog through a course of 10-20 different signs. Each of these signs provides instructions regarding the next skill that is to be performed. The dog and handler move continuously throughout the course with the dog under control at the handler’s left side. There is a clear sense of teamwork between the dog and handler both during and between the numbered signs. This is a fun and challenging class for both you and your dog. Prerequisites: Rally Obedience “Advanced.
